It doesn’t seem that long since the end of Ramadan last year, but here we are; 11 lunar cycles have passed since Ramadan 1434 and we are once more in the Holy Month of Islam.
I love living in an Islamic Country – the standards of public behaviour are so much better than in many places in the west, and I particularly love living in the UAE as it is so tolerant of other cultures and religions and welcomes immigrants from all over the globe.
Mosques, like our Christian Churches and Chapels, come in all shapes and sizes; from the most humble of places to huge buildings with spectacular architecture. I’ll try and show a mix of styles and also tell you where you can see them. The first one is near our old home in Al Khabisi.
Wishing all our Muslim friends “Ramadan Kareem”. May this Holy Month be a blessed one for you and your families.
