Children do not fast during Ramadan; they start observing this when they reach puberty. Many children through choice will observe part of the fast on some days, in preparation for future years. The old, infirm and pregnant women do not require to fast; under certain conditions such as travelling, able bodied people can defer some days of their fast until later in the year.
Today’s mosque is from Al Mutaredh in Al Ain.
