During Ramadan, iftar, which literally means “the breaking of the fast” is taken at sunset. Traditionally, the fast is broken with 4 dates and some camel milk, and after this light meal, with the main meal following a few hours later.
Today’s mosque can be found beside some plantations in the Liwa Area.
Wishing all our Muslim friends “Ramadan Kareem”. May this Holy Month be a blessed one for you and your families.
