Weekly Photo Challenge – Shadowed

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Shadowed.”

Shadows and dunes make a wonderful combination and I had a vast choice of photos to choose from for this post. This picture was taken eary in the morning in January 2012 near Himeem, Liwa, UAE. The most difficult time of day to forge a path through desert terrain is between 11am and 2pm when there is a complete absence of…… shadows.
