The UAE celebrated it’s 44th National Day on the second of December and most people had a five day break. We opted to go to Liwa with friends and had a rather magical time in the UAE desert, with campfires, starry skies and sightseeing. Here’s our trip from Rahhal’s point of view!

I am so happy in the desert!

My lugs help my owner determine windspeed and direction

Camping means friends, means lots of people to take me walkies!

Dad still needs to take me for walkies too!

Did I say I love the desert!

hmm – if I jump I can make pretty patterns in the sand

Looks like a nice place to sleep

i want to go that way!

Hope to get dinner soon!

Did I say I love the desert?

Kill all plastic bottles!

almost sunset…. dinner and bedtime soon

I thought I heard the dinner delivery man!

Will my mum ever tire out?

Dad’s stopped!

I think I will stop too

Such a hard life!

Too much tired!
