Our trips offer photographers, both amateur and semi-professional, the opportunity to take amazing photographs! Over the next few weeks I will feature work from a few of our guests – I hope you like their pictures as much as I do.

This week we are featuring Robert Haandrikman who joined our trips with his friend Rob Vreeman.
“I was born in The Netherlands and after worked in Abu Dhabi in 2016-2018, now I am based in Dubai.
I started with photography around 1976, when I got my first camera. At that time everything was in B&W and developing the pictures, you had to do it yourself. After a step-over to film and video, I came back to photography in 2009.
Because of my job as a system engineer, I am able to travel a lot and this was ideal to combine it with my interest for photography.
My main interests in photography is landscapes and cityscapes, especially the long-exposure ones.
Thank you all for showing interest in my pictures and thank you for reading!”

“During my stay in Abu Dhabi, I met Marina and joined her on several trips in the UAE and one in Oman. I aways let the driving to someone else, so I can focus on the surroundings and jump out of the car as soon as possible”
