The Desert Diva’s Guide to Al Dhafra Festival 2022

It’s the Al Dhafra Camel Festival 2022! Usually in late December, this year it has been moved to late January – so who wants to go?

***very important! Negative PCR result less than 96 hours old required to enter souq and arena. This may change to 48 hours with little or no notice, so I recommend taking one max 48 hours before your last planned entry to the souq (which opens 4pm)!

I have a couple of weekend guided self-drive adventures centred round the festival – check out our Camels and Culture Adventure here. Our trip on 15th/16th January is fully booked but at the time of writing, we have space for 2 more cars on 22/23 January (which has an optional extra afternoon/evening at the festival on the 21st).

Marina is available for all day or half day guided tours each weekday, from 10am until up to 8pm – whatsapp her on +971509478563 to check availability.

If you’d like to go on your own, then we have prepared this guide for you – we hope you find it useful!
