SS4 saw a scorchingly hot day with high winds, so I decided not to risk my camera jamming in the sandstorm.
SS5 was abandoned before it ever started – a huge sandstorm blew in at 4am, shrouding the area in a beige fug, meaning next to no visibility!
My Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge in T-shirts – we received a lovely commemorative shirt which I was keeping for the grand finale/podium – but it was cancelled because of the weather!
